Why did they clear the arena when Chris Benoit died?

rmember on the tribute episode of Chris Benoit, they had an empty arena? why is that? is it because they didn't want to make money benifitting off of his death so soon or because they didn't have a show planned or some other reason? I was confused and always wondered
