Xbox 360 Falcon Chip?

Ok guys so the other day I went out and bought an Xbox 360. It wasn't a Jasper but a Falcon. Is the Falcon a reliable chip or do I have to be extra careful with it? Also, is it only the back of the Xbox that should be ventilated? I am so afraid that I only play the Xbox for 3 hours tops then I let it cool down for another 3 hours. Is this necessary? I just really want to keep my Xbox 360 alive!
