Why propane price hasn't come down like gas price.?

While it's true that a certain amount of propane comes out of the refining of crude oil, and therefore the price of crude affects the price of propane, it is a relatively small proportion. Most of the propane we see at the consumer level is extracted from natural gas. When you see a price change at the pump for gasoline, you may or may not see a price change in propane. And if you do, it will be much smaller change. If natural gas pricing changes, propane prices will certainly change quickly.
