Poll:should i make a move on my best mates brother?

Im 22 and i live in leeds ,i have a great best friend but i realy like her brother who is 28.Im not sure if he likes me tho.Basicaly we have kissed before and he said one day you will be mine.He was saying that my now ex boyfriend was no good for me,that i was a lovely girl and could find somebody better,he said you know im the same age as your boyfried.Then he gave me a hug and i noticed he smelt my hair as he hugged me.Then when my exboyfriend hit me i rang my friend saying i was really upset and she said that her brother was so angry at him and was going crazy then in the background he said makes sure shes okay.Do you think he likes me?What shall i do?
