Is it a coincidence that enemies of the U.S. are countries that nationalize their oil?

With the exception of Mexico that did so way back in the 1930's, countries such as Iran and Venezuela have nationalized their oil and have HUGE oil reserves. They could easily manipulate the price of oil which is the predominant factor for the stability of worldwide economics! Iraq did so and we bombed them right away! Libya was planning to and Gaddafi was set to do the same and now we are bombing them. The only other country I can think of is Sri Lanka and I admit I have no idea about their situation. Russia wants to because they are complaining the oligarchs are plundering national resources. That's it.
