EnV2 question about Data charges?

Ok, I got my EnV2 yesterday and when I go to Mobile IM it says im gonna get charged from my minutes when i refresh buddy list or when i do something other than send IMs so i pressed accept to see if i can delete this AIM version because the update is stupid. We only have 300 minutes this month because we added unlimited text and new phone so its just for now that I have 300 minutes i regularly have 1400....anyways I went to get it now to see stuff and theres this thing on Tools on The Go and it was called LOOPT it was free until Dec 4 its like u can locate ur friends aand all that so i deleted it cuz i found a DATA SESSION icon on the top of my phone so i ended it and deleted it right away and the DATA SESSION logo was still there so am i getting charged for Mobile IM (im not signed on) or am i getting charged for the loopt thing even tho i deleted it.....ALSO is there ANY way to get the older version of AIM????
